Approximately 600 35 mm slides, organized by date, including domestic and international business trips and the construction of the home he designed for his family. Three design-related slide lectures are part of this group: "Vinyl tops and opera windows, " "Mailboxes, " and "Signs of are (sic) Times." Also included are six articles written by Mr. Albinson for INDUSTRIAL DESIGN magazine, twenty-two furniture patents, print interviews, a copy of his self-published "Autophotobiography, " his design resume, and books about him.

Mr. Albinson is recognized in the field of industrial design, specifically furniture design. He was educated at the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, and later worked in the offices of mid-century modernists Eero Saarinen and Charles Eames, prior to opening his Los Angeles-based industrial design firm in 1959.
